It’s a rough world we live in today. The germs, bacteria and respiratory viruses that surround us have never been stronger or more antibiotic-resistant.
It’s also the time of year that we starting talking about colds and flu, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t want them!
That’s why it’s important to take action now to help your family stay healthy. Thieves essential oil is what we use.
Thieves Essential Oil is called “Thieves” literally because it came from a legend about thieves. Back in the 15th century during the plagues in Europe, a band of thieves managed to stay alive all while they were stealing from the dead and dying. When they were finally caught, they were questioned about how they were still alive. In exchange for a lesser sentence, they revealed the combination of herbs and spices that they used. Young Living created the Thieves blend in light of this story.
So, why is Thieves so awesome? According to my Essential Oils Pocket Reference, Thieves is an amazing blend of highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-infectious essential oils.
The oils that make up Thieves are clove, lemon, cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, and rosemary. This oil smells SO good.
How am I using Thieves to help protect my family? Glad you asked!
Diluting does not take away any of the effectiveness of the oil but it’s a great way to make your oils last longer and save money!
