NYC Snapshots from Wednesday September 10, 2014
After all the NYFW craziness (which I still haven’t really posted everything from), I had to get OUT of the empire hotel. The fact that there wasn’t any good source of wifi was seriously killing me. So thankfully, I’ve got a sweet friend letting me stay at her place the remainder of the week (I feel like such a gypsy!).
I’m showing you a few snapshots from Wednesday because Monday and Tuesday were nothing special – I barely even left the apartment because I spend the entire day working (working with our warehouse team and EDI logistics for our second shipment of the season – definitely a more-than-full-time job!) But I finally got out yesterday and got to meet with a few of my favorite brands!
On my way to meet with one of new favorite (!) up and coming brands, 1 State. Y’all, it’s so amazing! I cannot wait for you to see what’s coming up for Spring 15. Wearing Hunter Bell Shirt, Club Monaco leather pencil skirt (such a great fit! from my CPA days…), all black ray bans, She Lo bag (that new brand I mentioned on my instagram), and dee keller fall14 peep-toe shoes “the amelia” in taupe suede (coming super soon!).

um, how fun is this little knit flamingo dress?! LOVE it! (coming soon – spring 15)
…and now moving onto one of my all time favorite brands – 525 America. If you haven’t heard of them, then you NEED to get on it because they’re amazing. They’ve actually been around for 30 years (it’s their 30 year anniversary this year!) and have always been a MUST for me (my mom and sisters love them as well! We’re just a 525 family over here ;))

and these little pom pom details – yes! This sweater (also comes in black!) is actually part of a collaboration with Hamptons Magazine and 525 where 20% of all proceeds will be donated to the Max Cure Foundation.

and now for another favorite – Alice & Trixie! Like always, the upcoming collections are super bright and colorful (you know I like lots of color ;)) I kind of fell in love with this jumpsuit – I can just see it with some sassy turquoise heels and statement earrings next Spring!
….loved the pattern of this shirt and how it has black accents! It would look so cute with black skinnies or even under a black blazer – don’t you think?!
loved these tanks as well…and the hot pink shorts are so fun!
