Potatoburgers with Gravy

This recipe comes from one of the newer additions to my growing cookbook collection. The hubby is a book-lover himself, so, when he saw books at a local yard sale, he stopped to look around. He found this 1980s-era cookbook that features budget-minded recipes...perfect! Today's recipe is "Potatoburgers with Gravy."
It was a delight; it was delicious. The burgers were savory and tender, but it is the gravy that really makes this dish. For a quick side, I whipped up some mashed potatoes, which went well with the gravy, too. Serving it this way made it reminiscent of Shepherd's Pie. I highly recommend you give this one a try.
