Winding Down

Well, the 2012 holiday season is almost at a close. So is, you know, the whole entire year. Which is insane. I always feel a little down come January, since the days are still dark and cold but there aren't twinkly lights and mulled wine to cheer things up. But I'm hoping to start the new year off on a high note and with wonderful memories of 2012.

We still have a small Christmas celebration with my brother and sister-in-law. They were out of town for Christmas so we're going out for brunch tomorrow to celebrate (at one of my favorite spots). Should be a nice end to a lovely holiday season.

I won't do a full recap of the year since much of it can be summed up in one word: WEDDING. I'm looking forward to settling into married life even more in 2013 and working toward the next big step. No, not kids. That's still a few years down the road. For now I want to focus on finishing school and finding a full time job so we can eventually move into a bigger apartment or buy a place of our own.
