New Beginnings

In the words of Dr. Dre, "today was a good day". Today was my first day at my new job. Every thing went really well, just as I imagined it would.
At the end of last year I started to brainstorm on what I wanted to accomplish in 2013. A major thing that I wanted to change was my career. I worked in the same position for 5 years and I wasn't happy. I wanted more. I needed more.
The lawd answered my prayers and granted me with a new career opportunity and I couldn't be happier. The biggest thing that I realized was that I underestimated my worth. I was complacent.
It sucks that it took me this long to come to my senses, but I'm happy. Really happy.
