the wallpaper is gone!!!

I have never been SO excited to see drywall in my entire life. THANK YOU to Bob, the wallpaper guy, who made us painfully aware of how awesome it is to turn projects over to professionals once in awhile! Also, thank you to my Tutu (grandma) who gave us this amazing gift as a housewarming present.

Seriously… Zack and I have been working away at the layers and layers of “vintage” wallpaper all over our house for the past year and still had what seemed like a never ending amount to go. Bob came in and finished the job in just two days. Now we have beautiful, blank drywall just ready and waiting for some texture and paint!!!

Although we are capable of taking on DIY projects here and there, as the countdown to baby continues to speed up and our freetime seems to be less and less I think we have decided on a few select items on the to-do list to turn over to professionals in the interest of getting it done before baby arrives! Angie’s List has become my newest obsession and I can’t wait to see what awesome people we find to help us check a few more projects off the BIG list. Next up: tile in the kitchen & bathrooms…
