Tumalog Falls

For such a proud Cebuana like me, it’s a wonder I’ve never been around the province to see our own tourist attractions yet! When time finally found a way to take me and some of my blogger besties to the south of Cebu, I cleared up my entire day and made sure to bring a camera so I could show you guys around too. Boy was I in a state of shock! I never knew we had this beautiful lake and waterfall just a few hours away from the city. Isn’t it just gorgeous??? My friends and I hiked down the mountains, and I ran into the water as soon as I saw it. Felt so fresh that I never wanted to leave! Rumor has it that the locals tried to split this waterfall in half to make way for some project, and as a result, the water almost stopped pouring completely. Good think it came back little by little and we were still able to witness it, even for just a while. This just goes to show how we shouldn’t tamper with nature because we don’t own it. We should instead embrace it and take care of it because it is a beautiful wonder we can not control. Happy travels everyone!
