Are you a white shoes kind of girl or a dark shoes one? I know this sounds silly as we all probably have so much of both, but hear me out. Whenever I buy a pair of sandals or heels or boots or flats, I almost always head straight for the light colors- nude, white, taupe, gray, silver, gold, yellow etc. The ones I usually end up forgoing belong to the darker pantones: black, plum, deep red, emerald green, navy. It seems like it’s a small matter of preference but this simple shoe color of choice is also reflected in the many other aspects of my life! For instance, I prefer pastels over neons, clean looks over cluttered ones, minimalist over maximalist, ambiance over food and the list goes on. Is it just me or is there a connection here?
