Om Swastiastu, Bali!

And we begin our journey through beautiful Bali- a trip made possible by my friend’s quick acting seat sale purchase, and Access Travel‘s perfect hotel recommendation. We’ve heard so much about this mystical place from books, movies, friends and family, but none of us have actually been to the island. So when the opportunity came in the form of a promo fair- we were all for it! Three girls on an enchanting island (Nicole was supposed to join us but she got sick ), what could be sweeter?

We arrived a little past midnight and went straight to our hotel- Kamuela Villas in Seminyak. Bali is HUGE and there are so many hotels and villas to choose from. If you are a backpacker or out to party the night away with your friends, or catch the first surf wave- you can stay somewhere near Kuta beach. It’s the cheaper alternative, and that area is just bustling with life. Lovers and families can opt to stay at the far away Ubud area- which is really beautiful too. You can really get a dose of your Eat Pray Love moments over there. However, for those who prefer a quieter stay with a bit more upscale environment, find a villa around Seminyak.

Our villa was super awesome too. It had two bedrooms, an outdoor sala, kitchen and dining area, a pool and two jacuzzi’s in each room! Since there were only three of us, and we all didn’t want to sleep alone, we ended up squeezing ourselves into one room and reserving the other for photos! #BloggerDuties

Every night, we fill up a sheet of paper with our breakfast picks, and every morning, at our chosen time, the wonderful staff at Kamuela sets up our meals at the dining area outside our room. We always had such a good breakfast feast!

Because we had a pool inside our villa, we took our time swimming, snapping photos and just chilling out instead of rushing to leave our room and explore the city. Even in doing that, I felt like it was such a good balinese experience to start with a very slow paced day. After all, where else can we do that? Definitely not in the city!

Here’s me showing off the extra room we didnt touch. My hair is still wet- told ya it was a slow and easy morning!

Our room was decked in rose petals and flowers on the floor when we arrived. The hotel probably thought we were lesby lovers lol. But it made all our photos so much prettier, don’t you think? Definitely would recommend Kamuela Villas in Seminyak if you ever find yourself in Bali. Thank you so much Access Travel for helping us book this hidden gem of a hotel, we wouldn’t have been as comfy and at ease without you! More adventures coming right up! <3
