Mengkabong River

Cruising along the Mengkabong River was such an amazing experience. After a busy day inside the resort touring around their many adventure zones, we capped the night with a slow sunset sail around the island. The view was breathtaking, and luckily, we got to see the perfect unhazy sight of Mount Kinabalu. Locals say it doesnt normally look this clear from afar, so they whipped out their camera with excitement just as I did. The short sunset cruise was the perfect way to make us feel at home at Kota Kinabalu. To think, this was only the start of our journey!
