A few days ago, I graduated with my associates degree in Visual Presentation and Exhibition Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Words, cannot explain how happy I am. God has given me a dream come true. There is not anything I cannot do. The world is mine from here on. One day everyone will know my name and know that I have a purpose to change the world.
I've spent many of nights praying, hoping, and remaining in faith. Knowing that He has something great in store for me. However, I did not see this coming. It did not hit me until I put on my cap and gown, and looked at myself in the mirror.
All could say is "I made it". I manage to accomplish something that most could only dream of.
My dad always told me "your a superstar-my superstar". It was joy to see him proud of me, and be inspired by what I've accomplished. Giving him the hope to strive harder, and know that he too has a purpose in life. However, I just want to thank my parents and sister--of course God for helping to make this dream come true.
We never truly know what the future holds. We can only hope for the best, and believe that great things will come into our lives. I know as I look out into the distant skies, I see no limit.
I know as I enter the next chapter in my life. I will be tested even more by God since He knows that I am capable of withstanding more. He knows that I am here the inspire every soul amongst His name. It's just a matter of time until you see that everything I touch turns in gold---due to the power of God that lies within me.
