Parka love

Okay, so, I might be kicking in an open door right now (that’s a dutch saying and I’m sure it sounds a little ridiculous in english but hey, I’m dutch so it’s okay), but I recently developed a crush on parka’s. No oversized pink coats, no camel coats, but parka’s. And not just a parka, of course not. I mean, we’re talking about me here. I have a crush on that one particular parka I can’t seem to find anywhere for a descent price…the oversized parka. One of those that surround you with coziness and when you look at me in that coat you will ask “where is that huge coat going with that girl”?

Don’t get me wrong. I do love the beautiful pastel pink and camel coats just as much as you probably do, but for a girl who actually likes winter I need something more weather proof. Sounds totally un-fashionable and practical, but again, that’s me! The problem with me and my parka wish is that most of them end halfway my upper leg and I want a coat like the one on the photos above and also in a particular color. My demands are…

1. It has to be long (to at least my knees) | 2. It has to be oversized | 3. It has to be green and preferably stone washed green | 4. It has to be somehow trendy | 5. It needs a huge hood (my hair rain = poodle)

Yeah, you get it. I have crazy demands. So I will keep on (online) window shopping until I found my dream coat and for the time being I’m happy to have an old friend in my closet to keep me warm. You can find some coats I’m currently considering here, here, here, here and here.
