My favorite scarfs

If there’s one thing I can’t live without during autumn/winter it’s a good scarf. Of course a coat (still searching…) and some good boots are also high on the list, but is there anything better than completely covering yourself in a huge and preferably fluffy scarf? I don’t think so!

I also think it’s the best accessory out there since it can give the same look a complete make-over in a matter of seconds. Today I tell you about my favorites and where to find them.

The classic grey fringe scarf
The perfect scarf for every occasion. It’s an absolute classic and it never goes out of style. I found mine here, but if you don’t mind spending a little more I definitely recommend this one.

The colorful and/or graphic scarf (or blanket…)
Okay, officially this scarf isn’t a scarf. I found it at the home department of HEMA, a dutch store which has a little bit of everything. From clothes to make-up and from home accessories to food. Every dutchie knows HEMA and loves it.
Anyway, in my humble opinion 80% of the scarfs are way too small so I like to take a peek at blankets every once in a while and that’s where I found this minty green baby. Huge, soft and also available in light and dark grey (only in stores).

If you don’t have a HEMA were you live you should check out H&M Home. A great address for huge scarfs a.k.a. blankets too! Check out my current favorites here and here.

The plaid scarf
Also a classic in every possible color, the plaid scarf. This one is from Zara and I seriously wore it every day six months in a row last season(s). I’m still happy I chose the green one instead of the red version because it’s way more versatile (also important). Even though it’s not available anymore this one is pretty cool too.

And now, do I still have a scarf on my wish list? Of course I do! Keep an eye out for my upcoming christmas Wish Want Wallet to find out more and tell me everything about your favorite winter essentials!

Happy saturday!
