My day with Max, as your personal shopper.

Jacket: Quirkbox | Top: Marks & Spencer | Jeans: Tommy Hilfiger | Shoes: Topshop
On a fateful Saturday afternoon of last week, I was stationed and seated at a carefully picked out spot at the Max Fashions store in Gurgaon. The purpose, was to aid, and advise the customers at the store, and help them spend their hard earned money... better!

Of course as people came in, yours truly gave them a beaming smile, introduced herself as the Max Personal Shopper for the day, and took them on a dream run from one end of the store to the other. The entire time imparting fashion advice, exchanging tips on what's cool at the store (and needs to be bought right away) and just having a ball with the customers!

Initially I was a little apprehensive about how things would turn out, and if people would be willing to have a stranger peek into their shopping. But it was a pleasant surprise to see, that more and more people are now open to have someone at the store advise them while they shop for themselves, and share ideas on more fun ways to wear their clothes

You've got to check out these photos of all the fun first, and then we can all go dance in the rain! (it's pouring in Delhi as I write this..)

| Sitting at my post, before it all began! And I was so excited about this big life-size standy at the store |
| Picking out cool beach shorts for this newly married couple |
| Helping this new mom to find the right kind of clothes and giving her the confidence to pull it off | (strange how so many times, all you need to do is encourage someone to try on something new)
| And discussing colour combinations to pair with this vibrant kurta! |
| Talking (animatedly) about the different ways in which a summer scarf is the perfect accessory |
| Helping this young college student to pick more vibrant colours for herself |
I had an amazing time interacting with all the customers, and was humbled to have them pay attention to what I was saying, and take it on board before they went ahead and made the purchase. It takes a lot to trust a stranger's word on something as personal as your own wardrobe. Many thanks to the team at Max Fashions for this experience.
Now let's go splish-splash together in the rain!
