Review: Wink All-Natural Eyelash and Eyebrow Enhancer

Thumbs up for Wink’s All-Natural Eyelash & Eyebrow Enhancer!

I was actually born with thick brows but started plucking them my freshman year of college because I was uncomfortable with the Groucho Marx look. Twenty plus years later, I realize that brows frame and enhance the shape of my face and started filling them in as a result. Drawing on those perfect brows every morning before work takes some time though so I also started using castor oil at nights to see if it would help with the stunted growth but wasn’t seeing any results.

I received a sample of Wink when I attended the most recent Beauty Press Spotlight Day event in New York City. I have been using it for the last week, and hair is beginning to sprout where they haven’t for years. A few of them even got a little long and I actually trimmed them.

Wink was created by two MIT students; who set out to create a natural, high quality product that could help women regrow their brows and lashes, lost over time or from over-plucking. This product is formulated WITHOUT nasty chems which include:

  • Parabens
  • Sulfates
  • Pthalates
  • Hormones/Prostaglandins
  • Artificial Fragrances
  • Artificial Dyes

What’s in it then? The list of ingredients include the following: Castor Oil, Emu Oil, Aleurites moluccana (Kukui) Nut Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, Organic Lavandula Angustifoloa (Lavender) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower Oil), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Vitamin A Palmitate, Tocopherol, Citrus Sinensis (Orange Oil), Cymbopogon Flexuosus (Lemon Grass Oil), Organic Ethyl alcohol

The 5ml bottle is a 3 month’s supply for both lashes and brows retails for $39 on Wink’s website.

I use it at nights after removing all of my makeup and right before I go to bed. I have to admit that I am not a fan of the tiny little brush but it was made that way so that you can apply the product to the root of the lash. In lieu of the brush, I apply mine using a mascara wand to my brows to really work the product in there and then use whatever product remains on the brush on my eyelash.

Have you tried Wink? If so, what was your result?

XoXo, Natasha
