The Flex Belt: Getting Slim Without Really Trying

**MY 6 WEEK CHALLENGE**

Exercising has never been high on my list of favorite physical activities. The effort, the sweating, the trigger of my asthma, and not to forget bore. To stay fit, I’ve tried to be more careful about what I eat, increasing my water intake and by also taking the stairs in my parking garage vs. the more convenient elevator. This has helped to keep my weight at or around the 170 lb mark, but it’s not doing much to firm and tone the muscles in my problematic areas.

My middle area (or my core) is my biggest concern. In addition to the obvious health risks, my flabby middle makes my clothes ill fitting and weak stomach almost always leads to weak back. Honestly, my core issues has also started weighing a bit on me mentally especially after my Mom handed me a bag with some girdles recently. I am growing more conscious of my weight and it’s slowly eating away at my self esteem. At this point, I have two choices and that’s 1) continue to worry; or 2) take action. I’ve decided to take action by trying some of the newest and latest and unconventional methods to address my weight all of which are methods that will helpfully get me slim without really trying.

The Flex Belt

One of the unconventional methods is the use of theFlex Belt which was sent to me for review. The Flex Belt works by emitting light electrical charges which contracts the muscles. You have the option of increasing or decreasing the intensity, which feels like a really great stomach massage. I like the Flex Belt, because I can use it at my convenience: cooking, writing, laying in bed watching tv, etc. I also like that it is a rechargeable device so there are not additional expenses after your additional investment.

According to their website, this is how the belt works:

  • The unique construction of the Flex Belt® features three pre-positioned, medical-grade Gel Pads, covering the central abdominals and external obliques.
  • During your toning session, signals from the Flex Belt® reach out to nerves where they are most concentrated.
  • These nerves branch out to all of the stomach muscles causing them to contract and relax naturally, working all of the muscles at the same time, not just those directly under the gel pads.

Every weekend I will do an update of my progress with the Flex Belt along with an introduction of the other products that I’ve found that will hopefully help me me to tone up and/or get slim without really trying.

XoXo, Natasha

Disclosure: I received a complimentary Flex Belt for review. The opinions expressed about this product are my own and was not influenced.
