autumn/winter nail polish picks

ESSIE in BORDEAUX, BARRY M in RASPBERRY, BARRY M in VINTAGE VIOLET, DEBORAH LIPPMANN in RUBY RED SLIPPERS, BARRY M GELLY in POMEGRANATE
Don't we all like pretty colour on our nails? I recently been very picky about the colours I wear on my nails, since it been a little more colder I been reaching for darker colours. I tried wearing pastels colours, but I am just not feeling it. I am all about vampy reddish nails.
I am personally big fan of Essie and Barry M nail polishes, both brand are very good in my opinion, as well as the colour range for both is very impressive. The Essie in Bordeaux is such a great deeper plumy red, almost black red, all you need is two coats for a nice coverage. The Barry M in Raspberry is a plain berry red, looks so beautiful on the nails. The Barry M in Vintage Violet is new in my collection, I wanted plumy purple and this is just a perfect match for something I been looking for. I been looking through my nail polish collection and I came across the Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish in Ruby Red Slippers, this is a sample size, from what I remember I received it in one of the sample boxes. The glittery red is so beautiful, but such a pain in the ass to remove! Looks lovely on all nails, but it also can be worn as a detail on one or two nails. I love Barry M Gelly range, most darker colours only need one coat and you are good to go. The Pomegranate looks great being worn as one coat, the colour pigmentation is very impressive. This one of the brighter colour I been reaching for during the colder months. Just a little tip, apply thin layers of nail polish, so it will dry a lot more faster than one thick layer. What are your nail polish picks for colder months?
