Spring Essentials for Chicago Girls

Happy first day of spring! If you're like me, this day as brought forth feelings of excitement (March Madness!), relief (winter is over), and utter confusion ("Is that snow?"). Let's keep it real; spring in Chicago isn't really spring. This season ushers in both the best and the worst that Chicago has to offer: everything from wind and rain, to hair destroying humidity, to my fair skin's annual coming out party with the sun, quickly followed by my first sunburn, and that's just the tip of the (hopefully melting) iceberg.

My spring routine includes a lot of cleaning and closet purging, followed by a shopping binge! Below is my spring shopping list. Pretty little things to spruce up the wardrobe, to the annual essentials that I can't live without (i.e. self tanner). Click though my picks that are sure to keep us on trend and ready for anything this season!
