Event :: Hackney WickED
It’s that time of year again when the borough of Hackney Wick and Fish Island throw open their doors for the three day creative festival ‘Hackney WickED’. Now in its 7th year the festival has grown from strength to strength. From Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd August you can expect artist talks, workshops, music, studio and gallery exhibitions, market stalls, performances and street food to top it all off.
The event has been a huge triumph in giving support for local artist to showcase their work amongst international stars. It has also been a great platform for the promotion of local culture and businesses with the huge influx of people that have attended in the last seven years.
