Gong Xi Fa Cai!

It’s Chinese / Lunar New Year!! It’s a big thing for my family and me, the biggest festivity of the year, in fact. I want to take this opportunity to wish all of you celebrating a Happy and Prosperous New Year, with good health, wealth and schmealth (LOL!).

I actually wanted to post a few photos here, but my daughter Chloe was admitted to the hospital last night, so that kind of messed up my plan. She has gastroenteritis and I hope she’ll be better tomorrow. It totally sucks because I just don’t have the mood to celebrate! Chinese New Year is a family thing, and with one of my precious ones in the hospital, nothing feels the same. Either way, we’re going to celebrate once she gets out – and we’re going to make up for the lost few days! I will be missing in action for a few days, so don’t miss me too much

I leave you with a photo taken 2 years ago – I missed our annual lion dance this year (in the hospital with Chloe) so this one brings great memories!
