China Glaze AVANT GARDEN Nail Polish Collection Swatches & Review

China Glaze is getting ready to release an absolutely STUNNING 12-piece collection called Avant Garden! I have six shades here today to share with you, and I’m having a really hard time trying to decide what my favorite one should be!

Sunday Funday

Sunday Funday is a bright blue turquoise cream. The formula was a little thick, but not too hard to work with. Two coats were needed for full opacity.

Passion for Petals

Passion for Petals is a bright and deep salmon pink cream. One coat wonder alert!! Great formula, beautiful color…. Everything about this polish just makes me happy.

Life is Rosy

Life is Rosy is a rosy mauve cream. The formula was smooth and easy to work with. Two coats were used for the swatch photo.

Mimosa’s Before Mani’s

Mimosa’s Before Mani’s is a gorgeous coral cream with subtle golden shimmer (though it looks peach in the bottle). The formula was awesome and I only needed two coats for full coverage.

Keep Calm, Paint On

Keep Calm, Paint On is a beautiful sea-foam green with a subtle shimmer. The polish is creamy, and the shade beautiful. I found the formula to be a little thick and kind of hard to paint on evenly. Two coats were used in the swatch photo.

Fancy Pants

Fancy Pants is an indigo cream with subtle pink and purple shimmers. The first coat looks a little thin, but it was opaque after two coats.

In the end, my top two must haves from this collection (so far) are Mimosa’s Before Mani’s and Passion for Petals.

China Glaze Avant Garden will be available March 2013. Individual shades retail for $7; 6-piece collections retail for $42.
