It's officially hot outside and since it's only June 3, expect to see a lot of shorts this summer. I even regret this lightweight long sleeve shirt. This scares me for August. Who lives up north wants to take me in for a few months? Any takers for a messy roommate with a pretty nice closet? Think about it.
Speaking of summer, I was shopping with my momma the other day and we were on the hunt for shorts. We were talking about buying shorts and how you become attached to certain pairs and have them for years, but it comes to a point one summer when your favorite pair decided to give up while tucked away during the colder months. You pull them out and they don't fit the same or they had their final wash and it's just time to say goodbye. The worst part is trying to replace that favorite pair, it's usually impossible. In fact, the more you love something, the harder it is to replace. I'm currently on the hunt to replace a well-worn black pair from many summer's past. If you see a pair of silky black shorts, let a girl know. So far I'm coming up empty on my search. RIP perfect shorts, you will be missed.
