I could see you were worried there for a second.
But have no fear, a previously sun-bleached flamingo is back to an offensive shade of pink:
You see I should be doing other stuff.
I've got my bookclub coming tomorrow, so I should be cleaning.
I should let you believe I actually get dressed up like this to clean shouldn't I? But the more observant of you will notice I have long hair still in that photo....I used to clean like that ;)
....And I'm possibly moving this blog elsewhere...bit fed-up with instability here and no confidence it will get better soon. I'll tell you more about that another day. Don't worry I'll keep you informed. I won't leave you.
And I've currently got 4 sewing projects on the go....
And the kids break-up from school next Thursday for summer hols (translation for non-Brits: "summer vacation").....and Melchett has big plans for replicating some of Phineas and Ferb's greatest adventures and then to blog them, so I should also be planning for these, stocking up the house and (long-overdue) building her website like I promised her last summer.
What I definitely don't have time for is prettifying flamingos...even if the poor thing's been looking the worse for wear for a few months now. The Arizona sun is harsh. And Mr. Cockerel's jaunts about 'Mingy's paleness even harsher:
(Don't tell Mr. Cockerel that despite his more colourful plummage at this point, he was even less visible all he'll be demanding a paint job next).
So it needed sorting...
(My 'painting things on a whim' box is getting a bit tatty now too).
There Mingy, you're repinkified....that's better now:
I might have to black Sharpie pen his eye back on a bit better...
Right.
I'd better get on cleaning this here house then.
No excuses now.
No procrastination.......
Hang on.....I think the front of my house needs some Memorial Day/4th July bunting making....
