DOMINICAN SWEET BEAN CREAM

Sweet Bean Cream: in my opinion, the most original Dominican dessert. Ever. Traditionally we make this dish around Lenten season, but for hardcore lovers of this creamy elixir there is no time restriction. My brother-in-law, for instance, loves Habichuelas con dulce (as it is called in Spanish) so much, that he learned how to make it.
