It’s been over 10 years since I graduated from college, but that is where the truly beautiful Bride, Asia, and I met long ago. We were on the volleyball team together and I’m so blessed to call her a friend after all these years! She and her fantastic groom Milan tied the knot on August 1st in Asia’s home town, Taos, New Mexico (home to some of the most amazing Turquoise jewelry production in the world) surrounded by their closest family and friends. They chose the KTAOS center as their reception and ceremony location and wow the views were absolutely spectacular! As you will see, the wedding was filled with bright but earthy colors that stood out among the green mountainous backdrop of Taos. Asia stunned in her gorgeous lace bridal gown paired with a locally made turquoise belt and earrings gifted to her by her grandmother and Milan was sharply dressed in a grey suit complimenting Asia with his bright tie and corsage. The couple waited to see each other until the ceremony where they teared up exchanging personally written vows with each other in front of an absolutely majestic backdrop. It was an incredible setting for a ceremony indeed!

After the ceremony, the bridal party and I got to pop up to the famous Taos Pueblo (where Asia is a tribal member) for some intimate and fun photography. Right as the cocktail hour was coming to an end, a huge rain storm swept through which did not stop the fun for long, as the reception proceeded with beautiful heart felt toasts, delicious home made food and lots and lots of dancing. Congratulations Asia & Milan! May your days be merry and bright!!
