Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs Spray Vs Cream

If you read my blog regularly you may already know that I’m a huge fan of Sally Hansen’s spray on tights / airbrush legs (which you can read about here). It’s like a foundation for your legs and perfect for nights out to really give your pins the gorgeous factor.

After running low on my last bottle, I waltzed into boots (can you imagine) and to my delight I discovered there is now also a cream! The spray is great, but it doesn’t spray thinly or evenly, so you always need to rub the spray in with moisturiser (which isn’t a biggie), but I figured the new cream which is a combination of both would solve this problem.

Wrong, it’s highly concentrated. Now whether I’m starting to resemble a ghost (which wouldn’t be hard with the weather) or I’m an optimist picking the ‘medium’ shade, I put some on my face and to my horror resembled a car crash between a wotsit and an umpa lumpa. None the less, I once again dug out my jergens moisturiser to help resolve the problem. My overall conclusion is I think the cream is a great CONCEPT but unless you’re going all out Essex, I would definitely stick to the cheaper spray and some moisturiser – it smells better and looks more natural. The spray retails at around £10, and the cream £15. You can buy it from both Boots and Superdrug.

Half my hand covered with the cream. It has great coverage but maybe I need to either get a tan STAT, or go for a lighter colour:
