Men’s Fashion Spotlight [Debut]: Nick Cannon

After many, many email queries asking me to feature more men on this site, I’m finally taking heed. And our very first style profile is none other than fashionisto and TV personality turned business mogul Nick Cannon. On the average day his hands are filled with hosting NBC’s hit reality talent show “America’s Got Talent,” serving as Chairman and creative consultant of TeenNick, designing for his Macy’s men’s tie collection, or just busy being a dad and husband.

Though he’s been in the news lately for his messy split from Auntie Mimi, we’re more interested in what Nick’s bringing in the style department. Nick notes Tom Ford and Dolce & Gabbana as designer favs, and Sammy Davis, Jr. and Frank Sinatra as two of his leading style icons (Esquire). “(Frank) Sinatra back in the day had effortless swag, I would snatch everything from that dude’s closet,” he says (BET).

Last night Nick appeared on “America’s Got Talent” Results Show in a fitted black suit and matching bow-tie, styled with a crisp white shirt and custom TraxNYC Cartier Diamond Watch (Remember TraxNYC? We discovered them first here!).

Well, there’s no denying the man cleans up well, and it’s rare to find him without the lines of an impeccably-tailored suit…

But we appreciate his casual swag too.
