When ArtRebels was approached by IKEA last year with the intention of getting inspired, founder and CEO Carla Cammilla Hjort jumped on the opportunity to pitch them a cool project idea. The idea was to create a line of limited edition products inspired by the ArtRebels universe; cool, young, colourful, fresh, with a taste of Trailerpark music festival. After a few days IKEA came back to ArtRebels ready to move forward with the proposed collaboration. Range Strategist at IKEA Karin Gustavsson explains, “We were already familiar with ArtRebels’ playful, colourful style, so when we were choosing a partner for this new collaboration, they were an obvious choice.”
