Veggie Patch - 3 days of soil turning [image heavy]

Day 1, Sunday:
* bought seedlings while at the Stirling market and a mandarin tree from a nursery
* I turned 1/3rd of the soil bed, lengthwise (North-South direction)
* sowed cabbage seedlings and gathered bark as mulch

Day 2, Monday:
* spent 1 hour shifting the soil bed to the East-West direction, resulting in 4 rows
* another 2 hours to create rows 5 to 8, unearthing the strangest things

Day 3, Tuesday:
* John was great to lend me a hand -- final rows 9 to 12 were turned to perfection in a hour
* a nice dozen rows for me to play with
