My Top 8 Must Have Beauty & Skincare Staples

I haven’t been blogging for awhile as my work had gotten really busy in the last couple of months. After much encouragement, I decided it’s probably good time to start writing again. Anyways, I went through all my drawers and here are my top 8 must have products. These are absolute staples in my routine and things I have purchased over and over again.

Atopalm Intensive Moisturizing CreamAmazon $17
I got this once as a sample from my beauty box and now I am on my 3rd tub. It’s a very moisturizing cream, non-scented and absorbs easily into the skin. I have tried so many different face creams but I always come back to this one and it’s a great value.

Simple Refreshing Facial WashAmazon $8
I love this face wash. It is a clear gel consistency, it thoroughly cleans my face and it isn’t drying! They use to sell this at Target and Walmart but now it appears they have discontinue the gel cleanser. You can still get it on Amazon.

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub – Tropical Mango ULTA $7.49
I love the smell of this scrub. It’s a large container with a lovely scent and large sugar granules. I find it a good combination for being abrasive enough to be useful but not to harsh where it is uncomfortable. I also feel like I get a good amount of time to scrub before it dissolves into nothing. There’s also other scents available too.

Montagnue Jeunesse Dead Sea Anti-Stress Mud MaskULTA $2
This was the mud mask that changed how I felt about masks. I usually have oddly sensitive skin when it comes to mask products but this one was really good. It is a bright blue paste, dries completely and then you rinse it off. The packet contains a large amount of product, good for 2-3 masks.

Juice Beauty Blemish SerumJuice Beauty Site $29
First off, everyone’s skin can behave a bit differently to different products. For me this is by far the best blemish/acne product I have ever used on my skin. It soothes the blemish, minimizes size and helps with the healing. It comes with a built in dropper and is gel-like consistency. Note: Ethan did want me to mention that we use this only as a spot treatment directly on the blemishes and NOT as overall face serum as directions specify.

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sunscreen – $10 Sold at Target – most retailers
I found this product a couple of summers ago and I have been re-purchasing it ever since. I love the scent (tropical coconut), it is hydrating, easy to use, high SPF and fast absorbing. It has everything I want in a body sunscreen.

Pssssst! Dry Shampoo – $8 Urban Outfitters & Walgreens
This is a really good drugstore dry shampoo. They have it both in full and travel size. It is in a aerosol can so it is super easy to use. I have black hair and I never notice the powder showing up. It gives my 2nd day hair another day and some volume to boot.

Yes to Carrots Daily Cream Facial Cleanser – $8 Yestocarrots.com & Target
So the simple face wash is my everyday gel based cleanser and this is my go to cream cleanser. It is soo smooth, creamy and gentle. I use it in the shower and I really like how relaxing it feels on my face. This is my 3rd bottle and I just picked up 2 more in the sale.
