Urban Decay – Smoked Eyeshadow Palette $29 (on sale – to be discontinued)
This palette contains 10 eye shadows (shimmer/matte), black eyeliner and mini primer potion. This palette has always been on my back burner. It interested me but I wasn’t sure if I would use the darker colors and originally at $50 was quite pricey. I even picked a up a dupe palette called Smokin at MUA for $12. I swatched all the eye shadows and they do have that lovely Urban Decay pigmentation, buttery smoothness and vibrant colors. I plan do to comparison with the dupe palette and I’ll let you know what I think.

This palette is apart of Urban Decay Black Friday sales for only $20!!!! So if you are thinking about it, you might want to jump on it now.

Tarte – Away Oui Go Portable Palette & Collector’s Set $48
(Limited Edition Holiday set for Ulta – Exclusive)
Oh my gosh, I feel like Tarte really brought their game in terms of holiday sets. I feel like there’s so many different exclusives out there. There is another one for QVC and Sephora plus a variety of smaller kits as well.

I was interested in this particular set because of how travel friendly it looks and because I already own similar one to Sephora set (I would also recommend that one). Tarte sets are always great value, gorgeous packaging and versatility. A perfect holiday gift!

This set comes with 4 removable travel palettes (16 eye shadows & 4 blushes), portal makeup palette, 3 mini lip glosses and 1 deluxe size mascara. The palettes are magnetic and easily removed. The quality of the products are definitely very nice and wearable. The pans are a good size and eye shadows do offer a variety of finishes. I love how cute this palette is and I can’t wait to use it more on vacations.

Anastasia Beverly Hills – Tamanna Palette $29 (Limited Edition)
I think I am the most excited about this particular palette because I just love the color combination. It is so unique and it is at a great price point! I first saw this palette at Sephora and I thought umhmm that looks pretty but I didn’t get it. It lingered in my mind and I went back it was sold out everywhere!

Swatched on my arm without primer
Thankfully, they re-stocked it and I highly recommend it if you like the colors. The eye shadows are very pigmented, smooth and easy to use. I think Anastasia really up’ed their game from before. They have a variety of limited edition collaborations but I like this one the best.

Urban Decay – Shadow Box $34 (ULTA Exclusive – Limited Edition)
I feel like Urban Decay has been on a launching spree! There’s been so many big hits out this season that I feel like this little guy is getting neglected. I am really glad I picked up this palette. It retains nice quality of urban decay but at a more affordable price point. The palette is perfect for traveling, pretty packaging and about the size of small notebook.

The palette contains 12 eye shadows (mostly shimmers, 1 matte), magnetic closure and decent size mirror. For some reason I feel like the finish doesn’t look as glossy in pan as other Urban Decay palettes but it is very good quality. My favorite colors are baked cowbody, flash and freelove. They don’t have chunky glitter – hooray!

Smashbox – On The Rocks Photo Eye Shadow Luxe Palette $42 (Ulta Exclusive)

I find that this palette is very pretty in terms of packaging (holographic gems), palette combination and overall eye shadow layout. There’s a variety of finishes (glitter, shimmer, matte and satin) and a lot of color versatility. I did take it traveling with me to a wedding recently. I used a lot of browns and purples. The pigmentation is solid, smooth and easy to use. I do want to say that this formula is different than last year’s holiday palette. It is not as metallic, soft or intense. I do find the slightly more dense formula to be better for storing and moving because I had last year’s palette crumble on me. But as always with large palettes, I need to play with it some more to decide if I will utilize majority of the colors. I think it would be a good set for some dabbling in more exciting colors.

Maybelline – Eye Studio Color Tattoo Leather 24hr (creamy beige) $7
Maybelline – Eye Studio Color Tattoo Eyeshadow (bad to the bronze) $7

Maybelline Creamy Beige swatched on my arm

Maybelline color tattoo are bomb! If you haven’t tried it, go to your local drugstore and pick some up. They are great as a base, all over eyelid color and super long lasting (crease-free!). They are often in my favorites. I purchased a new bad to the bronze as my other one was getting old and I got creamy beige as a eye shadow primer / base and I have been using it every day.

Anyways, this is my ULTA haul and I’ll be posting my Sephora VIB rouge haul soon too.
Please comment below if you want to see more detailed reviews and swatches of a certain palette.

OH ~ ULTA also has a great policy for makeup (love it or return it!) which means you can test them out for yourself and return it for 100% refund if you don’t love it! This policy is aligned with Sephora and CVS as well. They are great option for present giving
