Stila Convertible Colour in "Poppy"

Stils Convertible Colour lip and cheek creams are my favourite cream blusher at the moment. The punchy orange shade Gladiola made my 2013 favourites list, here are my thoughts on the equally gorgeous Poppy...

Stila has been around since 1994. Two of the things I have always loved from the range are their lipglosses adn these convertible colours. Having slightly dry skin, I think cream blishers are generally more flattering on me, especially in the Winter months. I alos like how they can be applied with your fingers 9or a buffing brush) for a pretty sheer wash of colour or build it up gradually for something stronger.

The lip and cheek stains come in a pretty plastic compact with a mirror making it great for touch ups on the go.

Another great thing about these is that they are so pigmented a little goes a long way. They truly are made for lip and cheeks as well due to the texture (some lip and cheek products tend to lean being better for the lips or cheeks despite their claims to be versatile)

I like to apply mine with my fingers and push the colour onto the skin. I love how it "melts" in with your base and leaves your skin fresh and glowy looking.

Poppy is a lovely deep red which I have found to be a really good choice when wearing a similar lip colour, or on its own to give that flushed, healthy "just been out for run" look (those who know me know only too well that I never go out for a run and that this look can only be acheived by make up for me!)

I absolutely love these little palettes and have 3 on the go at the moment in different shades. It's amazing how a good creamy blush can transform your face and make you look more awake, fresh and pretty. These are currenetly available online and Stila and in bigger Boots stores priced at £16 and come in 9 different shades.
