Comfort Food & A Contest

Mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving, movie night popcorn or some warm apple pie… Who doesn’t love a bit of comfort food once in a while? I for sure am a comfort food junkie!

With so many snow days lately, my kitchen has been stocked with some of my favorite comfort food! Staples in my house on cold winter days include grilled cheese sandwiches dipped in tomato soup and of course, pancakes for breakfast! There is nothing better than a little comfort food to elevate any mood.

My daughter’s, Talia and Julia have similar taste buds to their mom! We typically appreciate the same comfort food which makes for quiet meal times, with the exception of the soft humming from my little Talia. When she loves something she’s eating, she likes to hum. Her humming makes everyone at the table smile, and our comfort food somehow taste even better!
