An adventure game with adorable animals hiding in different worlds…

With 6 different animals, 3 different worlds, 3 different world combinations equaling 9 different landscapes and listening clues in English, Spanish and Chinese, the Monkimun Hide & Seek App is robust to say the least. It’s not often I see educational apps with so much to offer, while keeping their content kid friendly.

The goal according to the founder, Cristobal, “to bridge language learning and entertainment in a unique and fun experience.”

After watching the YouTube video (shown below) of the Monkimun App, I could tell how engaging it was. The graphics alone were great! Even better though, were the cute little animals that help kids explore and learn about each landscapes surroundings. Along with learning about the different landscapes, which include a park, forest, desert, and even types of fauna, children are introduced to vocabulary and grammar from different languages.

As children search through the landscapes, clues in English, Spanish and Chinese are introduced to help guide them. The app includes a map with in context vocabulary boasting even more features. The number of interactive elements in the Monkimun App is immeasurable, yet, not overwhelming for children. It offers just the right amount of stimulation while keeping children busy and engaged. Children ages 2 will love this app!
