We Lure a Leprechaun and He Pees in the Toilet

Do you want to lure leprechauns to your house? I know how, but they are mischievous.
I guess it's not too mischievous to pee in a toilet, but it was really fun for the kids to discover that they had come for a visit.

So, what does it take to lure a leprechaun? Why, gold, of course. They also love chocolate. Didn't know that? Guess how I figured it out...everyone loves chocolate. So, we bought some Rolos and needed to hide them somewhere. I, of course, wanted them hid in the bathroom because I have heard that leprechauns have to pee often, but I thought it might be fun if there was some evidence left behind for the kiddos. After hiding the treats under the Kleenex box, the kids headed to bed, and the magic began.

If you have never made little footprints, it is quite easy. Make a fist and paint the bottom of the fist as shown. Stamp that in place. Use three fingers to make the toes. Of course adding a bit of green food coloring to the toilet water will finish off the magic.

I loved having my oldest wake up, head to the bathroom and squeal with delight, "The leprechauns came." The leprechauns ate most of the Rolos (note the wrappers on the ground). They were nice enough to leave three behind - one for each child.

I saw this idea at Mommy Savers.
