Green Jeans and Polka Dots

Hello lovelies happy first day of spring! Today it’s all about green jeans and polka dots! I’m wearing a cute navy blue and green polka dot button up I found at Old Navy. I went to the store to pick up some solid color tee’s while they were having a buy 2 get one free tee event going on. While I was there, I decided to head back to the clearance section, to see if there was anything I “had” to take home with me. I was a good girl. I only picked up this shirt. Polka dot print and two of my current go-to colors I “had” to have it. I knew that the navy and green colors would be very re-mixable in my current wardrobe. It was only $9.99 and before I did my closet overhaul I would have just bought it because of the price but I thought about what I had in my closet that I could wear it with. I thought about my teal green blazer I could pair it with, or layer it underneath a green sweater. I thought it would look cute with my white jeans and white pants and then maybe even my mustard yellow jeans and my recent emerald jeans purchase. So after playing around with outfits in my head as I walked around the store thought it would be a good purchase for me and a stew of a deal at only $9.99.

As I stated above, I already had these emerald green jeans from Alloy, which I purchased several weeks ago on clearance for less than $15. The polka dots in this shirt ended up matching these green jeans perfectly. You wouldn’t really think that green jeans could be worn with very much, but they really can. With these green jeans I plan on doing a lot of color blocking with blue, yellow, mint, pink and purple. I also will be pairing them with neutrals. They look great with button ups as shown here today, sweaters, navy/white stripe and black/white stripe t-shirts and a few other items I already own. So that leaves for numerous outfits coming up in future posts with these jeans as well. Another great buy for me at only $14.99. Winning!
