Spring Green

It’s Spring Green today on the blog. I had this green pleated skirt from Forever 21 for a few years now and I’ve only worn it maybe three or four times because I didn’t really know what to pair with it. But as midi and full skirts are so popular now I see that it can pretty much be worn with anything. I know the beautiful green color pairs with so many other colors but I think the pleats were throwing me off. I was thinking to much into it. Once I just started thinking of it as a green skirt all of these ideas popped into my head of what I could wear it with. So I hope to get much more use of it this year.

Today I’ve paired it with a green and white stripe tank I picked up from Wal-Mart of all places. It matched perfectly and for less than $5.00 that price can’t be beat. Wearing what has now become my favorite spring sandal, because they go with everything. My attempt at a little print mixing with these floral sandals and my stripe tank. Added my bright pink leather cosh bag for an awesome pop of color and to tie it all together.

My denim moto jacket was a tall size find from Gap last year. This is my first time wearing it. Again it was another one of those pieces that was shoved back in my closet that I forgot I had. I’m happy I found it because it can be worn just as a classic denim jacket can but gives me a bit of styling variation. This is a size large tall and I would say that this particular jacket does run large. Also the sleeves are super long as you can see in the pics….love it!

What I’m Wearing:

Skirt: Forever21 (old), similar | Top: Wal-Mart (old), similar available in tall | Jacket: Gap (old), love the print on this tall size one, plus it’s currently on sale | Bag: Coach (old), no longer available on site| Shoes: Payless | Necklace: Ebay
