Bright Pink DIY Maxi Dress

Hello lovelies! First let me start off by saying please excuse the hair..lol the wind was blowing crazy for a minute while I was taking these pics as you can see from the movement at the bottom of my dress. Instead of getting the sexy wind blown effect I got crazy, big, all over the place hair and just went with it..lol Today I am wearing a bright pink diy maxi dress I made using Vogue pattern 8241. It seems as though I am on a maxi dress making kick. But I keep finding this fab material and I have so many maxi dress patterns that I can’t help but want to make them. Plus they are perfect for summer and so easy to just throw on and go. I decided to pair this maxi dress with my white blazer this first time around. I love wearing white in the summer time and will throw it on any chance that I can. I really love how it paired with this bright pink. I pulled out my bright pink coach bag and was happy to se that it matched perfectly with my dress. Last but definitely not least my floral print sandals. I am so happy with the purchase of this shoe because it goes with so many things. They were super affordable from Payless and they are holding their own. I’ve gotten my money’s worth and then some with all of the different color outfits I have already paired them with.

What I’m Wearing:

Dress: DIY , using Vogue 8241, similar

Blazer: Banana Republic, similar (available in tall), similar

Shoes: Payless, up to size 13

Bag: Coach, similar, similar

Necklace: Forever 21

Thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
