Printed Midi Dress

Hello lovelies! If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook then you may recall me speaking about a pair of sandals I purchased at Ross Dress for Less last week for $16.99 that were available up to a size 13. Well I ahem… also picked up a few dresses…lol Yes I know I said I wasn’t going to buy anymore clothes until I reached my goal weight/size but I just could not pass up on this printed midi dress and the 3 others that I purchased….lol Plus as I stated on Sunday I’m embracing the me that I am now and I deserve cute clothes as I slowly work towards becoming a more fitter me. Plus I figure I look pretty decent in this dress now, and when I reach my goals I will just look that much better or mate the same just without the need for my girdle…hehe

This dress that I am wearing today was only $9.99! Yes under $10 and it fits like a glove!. It is made out of a stretchy mid weight knit, so it hold you all in without showing all of the lumps and bumps like a stretchy light weight knit tends to do. I love the tribal print and I knew I wanted it because of the orange/black/tan and white colors incorporated in the print. I knew it would go perfectly with these sandals I am wearing with it today that I found about a month ago on Ebay.

I think this dress is a great transitional piece also because I can picture it being worn underneath my tan faux leather jacket from Long Elegant Legs, as well as my orange schoolboy blazer from J. Crew. It definitely can be paired underneath my faux leather moto jacket from Topshop or my black boyfriend blazer from Banana Republic. I can just add pumps or booties as well. Also thinking underneath a denim jacket with a black knitted scarf and a pair of black leather knee high boots. Also with a sweater thrown on top and a pair of flats. So many options already in my closet for a $10 item of clothing. I’d say this was a great buy.

So I tell you again my tall friends if their is a Ross Dress for Less in a city near you make sure you stop by every now and then. It can sometimes be a bit daunting picking through the racks but I tell you for a find like this and the other dresses I picked up, it is definitely worth it. I can’t wait to style it in the numerous ways that I described earlier and show you all here on the blog. So stay tuned.

What I’m Wearing:

Dress: Ross

Shoes: Ebay (size 12)

Clutch: DIY

Earrings: Forever 21

Thank you for stopping by!

Hugs,
