High Five for Friday AND A GIVEAWAY!!

HAPPY FRIDAY! We are looking forward to a road trip in a few hours to go visit John's family out of state. I hope you have some great plans, too! Here are my favorite things from this week (aside from being done with the move for now!). 1. This lipstick from JUST PURE MINERALS on ETSY. I've been looking for a nice pigmented natural lipstick for some time. I really love hers because they glide on beautifully and offer fantastically saturated color. As a bonus, she adds peppermint oil to the lipstick so your breath gets a little fresh pick me up each time you apply as well! I ordered 6 samples and was given a 7th for free because Jo, the owner, is trying to showcase her latest red called Ruby. The samples are extremely generous for the $1 price and will give dozens of applications. So far my favorites are Rhumba (which sadly, I lost in the move!), Cherise (a beautiful bright pink vs. red) and Berry Lovely. I also love Tango. Rhumba had the super popular "oxblood" vibe going on. The sample pots work best applied with a lip brush rather than your finger. The full sized lipsticks do come in a tube.

2. Tazo's flavored Thai Tea Latte's. I buy them at Target for about $3/box. Each box (combined with the milk of your choice, I've used both almond and coconut with success) makes 8 drinks! So far, we have had the regular organic chai, chocolate chai and pumpkin spiced chai. Yeah. They're all amazing.

3. This super cute ponytail from Camille Styles. Adorable. My favorite part is that it's pretty do-able unlike most of my hair posts from Pinterest. It's a great use for the 30 million clear hair ties I have lying around, too.

4. Color Me Rad! So, we ran Color Me Rad 5K over the weekend in Lansing, Michigan. I don't even know what to say about this experience. I felt like it was slightly unorganized, but it was also fun and made us *sooo* happy when people threw their color bombs in the air. Seriously. I wish we had taken a picture of it, but we left our phones in the car.

It was a great first 5K, but I don't think we would run this exact race again. I don't see the point in doing it twice. If you've run a 5K before- please let me know which ones and especially your favorite!

5. Mediterranean Salsa. John says this is an awful name for the concoction, but it makes sense to me and nothing better comes to mind! This heavenly mixture is made up of chopped green olives, diced pickled garlic, capers, olive oil and then salt, pepper Mediterranean spice mix to taste. It was so salty and divine. To balance it out, I put it on top of crackers that had herbed garlic goat cheese spread on them.
6. My manicure from JULEP. I'm not steady enough to take a good picture of my own hand, but used a dark purple shade called Padma and then layered a tiny coat of the very-glittery gold Oscars over it, starting at the top and making the glitter concentrated, allowing it to fade at the bottom. And that leads me to my giveaway!
