My New Favorite Way to Whiten: Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening Review + GIVEAWAY

I'm obsessed with teeth whitening and have been for years. After all, they say smiling is the best and easiest thing you can do to improve your appearance. People are drawn to smiles, and who wants to feel uncomfortable about their smile anyway? Even if you're teeth are a little less than perfect, having them whitened is a great way to help improve your smile as well as give your confidence a boost!
While some of us may not want to pay for the expensive whitening at the dentist, I'm sure I'm not alone by not wanting to be in the dentist any more than I already have to. Those dreadful required visits every 6 months are enough for me, thank you!
That is exactly why I'm so glad there are so many safe and effective solutions for whitening at home for a fraction of the cost, the ease of doing it at your own convenience, and not having to visit the dentist, even though he really is a very nice guy.
I've tried so many at home whitening options over the years, and while some will give you average results, every now and then I find a real superstar.
When I got the Smile Brilliant at home whitening kit, I was super ecstatic to give this baby a try! I love that Smile Brilliant has several options to choose from! You can get the Teeth Whitening Gel Kit, the Teeth Whitening Pen, the Desensitizing gel kit, or the LED teeth whitening kit!
I got to try out the LED teeth whitening kit and loved this option because as you know, when you get your teeth whitened at the dentist it is common for them to use a light source on your teeth to give you the maximum whitening results from the gel. I loved that this is such a similar option to what you would have done at dentist visit, that I was thrilled to put My Smile Brilliant LED Whitening kit to the test!
The Whitening kit contains a gel you place on clean, dry teeth. Then use their handy trays to cover your teeth and protect your gums from the gel. You can also use the handy brush tip applicator that comes with your kit, to get the gel into those tight between-the-teeth spots, to make sure the gel covers your teeth evenly. You then place the LED light source into your mouth, with the light facing your teeth, turn it on and leave for 20-40 mins. You can then remove the LED but you can still leave the gel on for however long you like to get the maximum results.
The special gel is made with 22% carbamide peroxide, and then of course like the dentist, the high intensity LED light then accelerates the whitening process when combined with the gel.

First off, this system couldn't be any easier to use. You can use it whenever is convenient. I used mine about 5 days a week usually in the morning after my breakfast. I would brush my teeth to get them extra clean, and then dry them off with a towel before applying the 4ml gel pen. Just twist the bottom (usually takes several clips for your first use), the pen will then dispense the gel and you just brush it even on the fronts of your top and bottom teeth. I found the brush on this pen so easy to use and it did such a great job with application, I didn't even need to use the separate handy brush that comes in this kit. It brushes on in seconds, then I held my smile for about 30 seconds to let it dry a bit, then placed the teeth covers over my teeth, turned on my LED light, and placed in my mouth. That's it!

I thought at first it would be uncomfortable or annoying having this LED light sticking out of my mouth for 20-40 mins each session, but it actually fit in really comfortable. I just pushed it up against the teeth guards, closed my lips around it, and it stayed in fine, felt perfectly comfortable and I had no problems with it falling out. The time would usually fly by for me, and I would just go about what err I was already doing. Then when the 40 minutes were up, I would remove the lights and the teeth guards, and I would just leave the gel on until it naturally washed away. You don't have to actually wash it off if you don't want to.

Now if you're like me, I'm sure your wondering about the teeth sensitivity. I have some extremely sensitive teeth, I always have. Ice cream can be downright painful sometimes, and I don't even like to think about my biannual trips to the dentist. I've used special toothpaste several times in the past for tooth sensitivity as well, this is how sensitive my teeth can be! I can also experience extreme sensitivity to teeth whitening products and have had some really bad experiences with some in the past!

While using my Smile Brilliant, I was extremely impressed with how gentle this product was on my teeth. I used my LED to the max. Everyday I used it for the full 40 mins, and never washed the gel of afterwards. I would use it for about 4 or 5 days in a row and then my teeth would start to feel a bit sensitive but not painful at all. I could just kind of tell my mouth was telling me to take a break for a day. So I would take a day off, then pick it back up the next day and use again for 4 or 5 more days in a row. I did this for the last 3-4 weeks and my teeth have been absolutely fine and completely pain-free!

Like I said, I already have sensitive teeth and this was just fine for me, so I know the average person with no to very little sensitivity would have absolutely no problem with this product.

Now the big question, did it whiten? Oh yes my friends, yes it did! I did take before and after pictures, but unfortunately thanks to leaving the filter on, on my before pics, it was really hard to tell a difference, but I could tell a difference after the first week just looking in the mirror.

My 6 month dentist visit is about up and I tend to be horrible at getting that nasty plaque that shows up between the teeth, and it was starting to get bad before I used my Smile Brilliant, but not only did this amazing teeth whitening system make my teeth whiter and brighter, but it also whitened the plaque as well, making it much less noticeable, and of course making my teeth look cleaner healthier, and overall, whiter!



I have absolutely loved using this Teeth Whitening system, in fact, I dare say it's probably one of my favorites so far! It's so easy and convenient to use and downright affordable! I love that it did not make my teeth sensitive, and really brightened them up and made them appear so much whiter and healthier, and so fast! I noticed a difference within a week!
