These days, when I look in my closet, it's night and day versus what it was like a few years ago. My love for colorful pieces proved to not simply be a phase, rather, it's a transition that's here to stay.With that said, every now and then, I have this urge to style in a more muted color, and let the mix of fabric and classic silhouette do its magic.
I pulled this outfit together centered around this skirt by TopShop. The classic pleated midi skirt is simple yet edgy with its eye grabbing material. It's gives an added twist to the otherwise traditional style. I paired the skirt with an embellished jersey tee. The ultra soft material with the added jewels ensure its ability to not be overshadowed by the skirt.
I love the look and feel of this outfit. The black and grey combination proves to always be classy and never out of style.
