Mountains, mice and pirates.

I walked on top of a mountain/hill the other day. It was a big achievement after being sick all last winter and Im so proud of myself. Also, cant wait to do it again. Here is a self-portrait of me exhausted after the hardest part of the hike. Last weekend we took a trip to a small town south-east of Reykjavík called Eyrarbakki. My aunt and uncle moved there a couple of years ago and it was my first time seeing their beautiful old house. So I made them a little housewarming gift. My aunt made the cute little mice. The trip was not just a regular visit it was a special Sandcastle Day they had arranged for my mothers side of the family. It was an amazing day. We had delicious homemade soup and bread and then we went to the beach and made sandcastles. It was a competition and this is what my family came up with. Pretty spectacular pirate castle, huh?
