We went camping part 4 - last one

And here is the last part of our trip. We found a really special place to eat lunch. It was like a little bowl on a top of a hill with a truly unique view of the glacier. We found a wing from a raven. Poor little raven, actually ravens are huge in Iceland but still... A few steps from our picnic area there was a tall cliff and as we stood on the top of it we saw all the south part of Iceland all the way to the sea. It was breathtaking. Of course we stopped again at the glacier lagoon and now we went to the black sandy beach where the icebergs come floating through on their way to the sea. But the biggest event on our way back was when we stopped by the roots of the glacier, Sólheimajökull. Its impossible to describe it without using epic words and philosophical terms about what you feel when you are near such a huge force. Wait, its just one more place I wanted to show you. The cutest little cave we ate our lunch in. And the view from the front of the cave up the hills beside it. I love those kind of mountain tops that are shaped like castles. I always imagine royal elves live in there. Thank you so much for enjoying our trip with us. It was amazing and beautiful and epic and relaxing.
