Best Beauty: NY Fashion Week

I’ve been meaning to post this forever! I loved these woven side braids from Alexandre Herchcovitch’s show at New York Fashion Week. And even though I just said I was all about undone hair, these glamorous waves at Mackage are enough to change my mind. So perfect. I would love to just wake up with my hair looking exactly like this every single day. Leeeeeeeee sigh. These loopy buns from Luca Luca are 50% I just got done working out, 25% grandma, and 25% I made more at this fashion show than you made in the last 6 months. Thakoon showed fabric-woven buns at NY Fashion Week, and Rachel Roy showed Heidi braids woven through with bits of fabric. After the break, the best of makeup! OK, onto some makeup highlights…. This silver eye makeup paired with red lips at Altuzarra isn’t the most wearable look, but I couldn’t stop looking at the close up pictures. It’s very Russian ice princess, which I’m into right now because I’m obsessed with Johnny Weir. I don’t know if it’s the great lashes on the models at Carlos Miele 0r if it’s just this model’s insane bone structure… She looks like a cyborg. More silver eyes at Derek Lam. I love how super minimal this is. And even more silver (in glittery chunks) at Vena Cava. This make my eyes red & watery just looking at it! (Image Source)
