Bitter Root Vintage Review

Last week was my birthday and I knew I wanted to feel awesome. I've taken to wearing skirts and dresses a lot because I always feel my best when I'm dressed up. So of course for my big day I chose to wear the Audrey Dress from Bitter Root Vintage.

The absolutely best thing about this dress is how gorgeous I felt all day. It's comfortable and pretty, easy to move in and because it's vintage inspired I don't feel like I'm hanging out of it. Yay! When I first received this dress I also tried it with the crinoline from my wedding and I have to say it looked amazing. I wish I had taken pictures!

Bitter Root Vintage carries some really gorgeous vintage inspired pieces with many different sizes to choose from. I think that's what I love best about this shop because sometimes as a curvy girl it can be hard to find clothes that fit my curves. Not the case with this shop!

I had such a wonderful birthday and part of it was definitely feeling pretty. This dress did that for me. I almost felt like a princess going out to lunch and shopping with Izzy and I think that's important. I used to think that I could only dress up when the situation warranted it (you know, weddings and special occasions, that kind of thing). But to be honest, if you want to dress up then just do it! Who cares if you're just going to the grocery store. Life is short. Dress up.
