Rituals Zensation Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom Review

Rituals Zensation Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom – £8.50 for 200ml

I received this slightly unusual product a couple of weeks back in the Latest In Beauty box that I won and gave it a whirl this week. Now when I say unusual, shower gel isn’t in the slightest, but the fact this one was more of a gel-foam-mousse type thing and was in a spray can made it slightly different from the norm.

As I said before it comes in a can rather than a bottle, and when dispensed it’s a gel that turns into a foam when you rub it in. It’s a very light texture and afterwards my skin felt lovely and smooth too which was nice. It smells lovely too, you can definitely smell the cherry blossom. It’s feminine, floral and quite musky so if you’re looking for something fresh and zingy to wake you up, then this isn’t for you. It’s also kind of a grown up scent and what I mean by that is it reminds me of when I was a child and I’d be still using Matey bubble bath or something similar and this is what grown ups would wear.

The only drawback I found to this product is the price. It’s £8.50 for 200ml which seems a lot for something you’re essentially washing down the drain.
I have nothing negative to say about this product, it is lovely and nice for a treat, especially if I was heading out for the evening and I wanted a stronger muskier scent to wear but I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing, it seems a bit steep in price for what essentially is shower gel and there are plenty of other products I love just as much which are cheaper.
