Weight Loss Wednesday #9 – There’s a light at the end of the tunnel

(Source )
Week 9:
Weight Loss: -0.4lbs
Total Weight Loss: 4.4lbs
I’m feeling really positive this week, I’m the lowest weight I’ve been since March 2014. I honestly thought it’d been longer than that but I digress. I also had a couple of friends tell me they thought I’d lost some weight which made me feel really happy as well.
I finally got some more news on my tiredness, my blood’s came back fine, so I spoke with the doctor at length and he diagnosed me with generalised anxiety disorder. I know a million and one people in the blogger community have mentioned anxiety so I’m not going to go to great lengths about it, but when I look at my behaviours and symptoms it makes sense.

Some things have settled down and I’m feeling better and the doctor has given me some sleeping tablets for now so I’m hoping these will mean I get a good night’s sleep and I will be able to feel more alert.
Back to my weight loss, I’m noticing more how my body is changing, the tops of my arms and shoulders are becoming more sculpted and I’ve noticed the biggest change to my legs and bum. My stomach is being a bit stubborn but it is the part of my body I struggle with the most. I’m hoping with more sleep it’ll help reduce it. My clothes are fitting better, there’s a few items that still are a little on the snug side so I know I’m not down to my slimmest but I’m getting there.
I pounded the gym hard this week, I really pushed myself for the first time in a long time and I’ve been sore for pretty much the whole week, which is nice in a way as I know I really tried. My eating wasn’t too bad, I did go to Byron Burger on Saturday night with my friend which was nice and we had Dominos on Friday night, but aside from that I was fairly good, I kept up my smoothies until Friday when I really wanted some proper food so I had scrambled eggs and a bowl of fruit and a cup a soup with some oat cakes.

I’m thinking of taking up yoga to increase my flexibility, help me with my weight and to help my anxiety so I’ll let you know how I get on!
