PARIS IN BLOOM This time I made it, I got to see Paris in bloom, a Paris with summer weather, a clear blue sky, the streets with even more people than usual. I want to thank Comptoir des Cotonniers for having us and giving us this beautiful opportunity, welcoming us in their world and in their beautiful family, making us discover their reality and letting us understand what happens backstage, how they work on the new collections, always doing their best to improve and keep writing the beautiful story of this brand. Saying that our experience was interesting wouldn't be enough, because it was a construcive and stimulating trip, from the people we met to the places we have seen. Today, though, I would like to start showing you how we spent our second day in Paris (our free day), walking and wandering from la Madeleine to les blooming Tuileries, until the Louvre, to then cross the Passerelle des Arts and find ourselves lunching in Saint Germain, shooting postcards for you here and there. I love Paris.
Questa volta ce l'ho fatta, sono riuscita a vedere una Parigi tutta fiorita, una Parigi con temperature estive, il cielo terso, le strade più affollate che mai. Ringrazio Comptoir des Cotonniers per avermi regalato questa opportunità, per avere accolto me e Roberto nel loro mondo e nella loro grande famiglia, per avermi fatto scoprire la loro realtà e per avermi fatto capire cosa succede "backstage", come si lavora su una collezione per migliorare anno dopo anno e continuare a scrivere la storia del marchio. Dire che la nostra esperienza a Parigi è stata interessante mi sembra riduttivo, perchè è stata un'esperienza costruttiva e stimolante, dalle persone, alle location. Oggi voglio però iniziare mostrandovi come abbiamo passato il nostro secondo giorno a Parigi (il giorno libero), facendoci una lunga camminata da la Madeleine a les Tuileries, fino al Louvre, per poi attraversare la Passerelle des Arts e ritrovarci a mangiare a Saint Germain, il tutto scattando qualche cartolina qua e là. Adoro Parigi.
