MMM: The Summerhouse, baby shoes to swoon over
Now both of my pair are in ‘proper’ shoes, their cute first pairs of baby shoes are up in the loft in their little storage boxes of newborn stuff.
But there is something so gorgeous about tiny little baby bootees that despite the fact I will only ever buy them again as presents, I just can’t resist.
One new find is The Summerhouse, where Spanish crafter Zaida Martin sells her beautiful, handcrafted baby shoes that are too cute for words.
Made from merino wool cloth and extra soft leather, all Zaida’s shoes are lined with an additional layer of smooth and delicate Bavarian merino wool cloth to increase warmth and isolation. The inner sole is made with organic cotton teddy fabric to keep those little tootsies even warmer. Just gorgeous.
